My condolences to you on the passing of Uncle Peter. He was always a soft spoken man and I remember when I came to visit in Portage la Prairie on my way home from a football game to visit for the weekend. He and auntie were so welcoming and it was a nice visit with them and you. Take care and he will always be in your hearts
Love

We are so sorry to learn of the passing of your Dad and Gedo and my Uncle, you will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for you. One of the enduring memories I have of Uncle Peter was his smooth voice, it sounded like the voice of a polished jazz singer! He was always a kind and gentle man. Retell your memories of your Dad and Gedo often and that will keep him in your lives and close to you.
Love...Grant, Paula, Joshua, Jessica and Uncle Tony and Aunty Rose.

So sorry for your loss. I'm with the PCI students who attended his class in the '90's, he opened the class my year (as I presume he had for many years before) telling everyone you were either a "wristwatch", a "sponge" or "garbage" all depending on your work ethic. There was lots of shenanigans in the class from my classmates but I always enjoyed his teaching and came away with a greater appreciation for Canadian History.

Gayle, Brent, Courtney & Madison, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad and difficult time. What I will always miss about uncle Peter is his smooth sounding voice, it sounded like the well polished voice of a jazz singer, it went well with his easy rolling laugh.
I hope you all share many memories that you have of your Dad and Gedo... it will bring him closer to you again.
All our love and hugs, Grant, Paula, Joshua, Jessica and Tony and Rose.

Like many graduates of PCI through the 70's, 80's and 90's, you would have had to take Mr. Kripky's Canadian History class. I was one of those kids in 1990. I was not a fan of history at the start of the year but, he some how made me realize that it was very interesting because it involved our great country of Canada and how it came to be. I can look back now and be thankful for that! We fooled around a lot in that class and we knew that if we could crack a smile or a chuckle from Mr. Kripky, then it was a small victory for us because that was hard to do and didn't happen very often.

Sad news. Mr. Kripky was one of my teachers at PCI in the early to mid 80's. His dry wit and sense of humour kept us both entertained and engaged. I have vivid memories of lessons on the BNA Act and the Family Compact in his history class. Many of my fellow students over the years have fondly recalled that when someone acted up, he quipped, "You wanna be a clown? Join the circus."
Grateful for the time in the classroom with him, and my deepest condolences to his friends and family.
