We wish to send our heartfelt condolences to Audrey's family and loved ones. Audrey was my first cousin and her mother and my mother were sisters. My Mom was the youngest of 11 children and was very close to Audrey...We last saw her in 2009 when my Mom turned 90. Audrey enjoyed her family and made the most of every facet of her life, always working hard, always singing joyfully. I also remember how she, my Mom and many of her cousins and aunties loved to do enjoyable and comical skits!! love Betty & Dave Rutherford in BC

I was a care giver to Audrey and one of many favorite stories told by Audrey was one of her speed skating . She never lost a race and every year the west end feared her the "East side " skater lol. Her biggest competition was another skater from the west, another Audrey and she always beat her, she stated she liked her but Audrey did not like her ... It always made me laugh , I would ask her do you think she didn't like you because she knew you were once again going to beat her in the race....her response was always the same. Well I don't know she was good i was just better ( with a small grin) and besides I used boys skates and that was my secret weapon.... When I would ask her if she had ever lost to this Audrey would she have liked her still ... to which she would roll eyes and say I wouldn't ever loose and I have all the ribbons to prove it. xoxo. Her stories and way she told those stories were highlights of my day and ones I will never forget.

We were so sorry we weren't able to attend your mom's funeral.Â
We watched the funeral on the computer and it was a very moving service. My mom thought a lot of your mom, being sister-inlaws, also having the same name. Your mom was one of a kind who lived a very fulfilled life. She wasn't afraid of trying something new. My mom remembers her on the farm, working with her on a sandwich truck, playing her guitar and making uncle Bill happy. I also have fond memories of my favorite aunt. You will miss her, as will we. Take care and know she is now in a better place. Love Auntie Audrey and Donna
