My first communication with Reg was before he had his UE title. He had been trying for years to prove the connection between his gr grandfather (Peter) and our shared gr gr grandfather (Jacob). I was able to provide that proof through documentation that I had acquired for my own tree and he was so pleased to finally be able to get his UE honorific. It was a "fist pump" accomplishment for me that all my hours of research had benefited someone else. We continued to exchange information over the years. My heart is saddened by his passing. My sympathy and thoughts go out to his family.

Debra & Family:
Our deepest condolences in the loss of your dad Reg. I fondly remember your dad with doing some real estate deals for him and when we had a few beers at the old City Centre hotel.
Your dad always had time to say hi and have a chat with me. Also when you Debra were our first house neighbours on Elviss Crescent.
He was always the polite and professional gentleman to be around.
Our thoughts go out to you and your families at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Bill & Brenda Crossman

Dear Linda and the whole Eamer family:
This is Norm writing on behalf of Ina and the whole Munroe family. Our condolences go out to you at this time of sorrow; please know our thoughts are with you.
Huck and Ina always liked Mr. Eamer and their friendship spanned 70 plus years. Ina remembers fondly a trip the two families took together in the 1950's. They were both living in Winnipeg; the Eamers on Harwood Street and the Munroes on Linwood Avenue. They took all the kids to Camp Pala located at Minaki, Ontario. Apparently both Helen and Ina were not too pleased with some of the shenanigans their 'boys' got up to.
Another memory Ina fondly remembers is a fun filled winter vacation they took to Jamaica in the 1970's: Huck and Ina with Reg and Belinda, along with Tom and Alex Town. Again they got up to no good - more shenanigans. Reg had a clever knack for engaging the locals with a pair of brand new white running shoes sitting beside his beach chair.
And of course there were the innumerable summer get together events at Clear Lake.
Reg had a sign made up for your cabin in the old camp ground " Hey Mable, have a Black Label". To her credit, Edna made sure there was no such signage when they got their cottage.
Time moves on. You accompanied your Dad to Huck's funeral in early 2018 and that meant a great deal to Ina. And you brought your Dad to Ina's 90th birthday celebration last October, which gave everyone a chance to connect: me included. Thank you.
Though, Reg is no longer with us, he leaves many fond memories. He was a good friend to my parents and for me was an example of statesmanship. Please know we share in your grief.
Sincerely,
Ina Munroe
