Obituary of Carol Alford

Carol Elizabeth Alford, 67, of Eugene, OR, passed away on April 14, 2014 at home with her husband, son and close family friend Sandy by her side.She was born in Eugene OR, to Rollin and Betty Moore. Carol graduated from South Eugene High School and pursued some college. She was married to Michael Alford for 38 years.Carol spent some time in Southern California and returned to Eugene where her high school sweet heart Mike sought her out and married her. She worked as a book keeper and office manager for several companies but ultimately helped her husband manage their business Fire 4Life for the past 19 years. Carol had a passion for Elephants, nature and the out doors. Her favorite activity was to go to Eastern Oregon to go hunting with Mike and the gang.Just 2 days before her passing she had a beautiful day. Her Husband, son, brother, and his family took Carol out for lunch and celebrated the time they had with Carol being in great spirits.She was survived by her husband, brother, son, and 2 step children.At her request no services will be held, and her ashes will be spread at the family farm in Eugene, OR and at her favorite hunting and hiking ground in Eastern Oregon.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, make donations to Sacred Heart Hospital Hospice Program.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
