Obituary of Margaret Hitchcock

Margaret Jean Hitchcock, 81 of Eugene, passed away April 13, 2014 of pulmonary edema. She was born November 25, 1932 in Pittsburg, Kansas.Margaret was a graduate of Santa Cruz High School in Santa Cruz, California. She married Lee W. Hitchcock on July 1, 1951 and was a bank teller and homemaker.Survivors include her husband of nearly 63 years, Lee; two sons, David (Deena) Hitchcock of Elberta, Alabama and Dan (Patty) Hitchcock of Tracy, California; two daughters, Jenny Hitchcock of Talent, Oregon and Janna (Jeff) Watson of Forrest Hill, California; a brother, John Lee Dunbar; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A son, Doug Hitchcock, preceded her in death.An inurnment will take place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 2:00pm, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA, 95620. A memorial service will be held following the inurnment from 5:00-8:00pm at the home of Dan and Patty Hitchcock, 17500 Von Sostent Road, Tracy, CA, 95304.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary.
