Obituary of Mary Ann Gaskill

Mary Ann (Angeline) McKenney Gaskill, a life long resident of Eugene, passed away 4-17-14 from complications after a stroke. Mary Ann was born at the Eugene Hospital 11/15/29 to Jake & Ollie McKenney.Survivors include daughter Sally and husband, Mike Craiger of Apache Junction, AZ, son Thomas Gaskill and wife Christina of Eugene, grandson Jeffrey Gaskill, wife Jackie and son, Scotty, Springfield and granddaughter, Lindsay Gaskill of Eugene.She is preceded in death by her brother Floyd McKenney, father and mother and step-mother, Helen McKenney.Mary Ann worked as a school bus driver for District 4J 1965-67, and retired from the Auto Club of Oregon after 20 successful years in sales. She was also a very prolific writer of short stories and a great adventurer. Mary Ann sang with the Greater Eugene Chapter of Sweet Adelines for 20 years, President for 2 years, and loved her singing years with the Songspinners.She loved her family and enjoyed bragging about her children, grandchildren and great grandchild.There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Mary Ann.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Funeral Home.
