Emelia “Emelie” Rose Halbrook age 83 of Eugene, Oregon Passed away of natural causes on May 7, 2014.She was born on August 30, 1930 in San Juan Capistrano, California to Albert Victor Jimenez and Emelia Alma Brito.A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at West Lawn Memorial Park. A Viewing will be before the service at 12:30 to 2:00. Entombment will follow the service at 3:00 PM.Emelia graduated from Capistrano High School, in San Juan Capistrano, CA.She married Charles I. Halbrook on June 5, 1950 in San Clemente, CA. and was a Homemaker.She is survived by her husband Charles and two sons, Charles A. Halbrook and James R. Halbrook both of Eugene, OR. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Ida Hensley of Murrieta, CA., and Pat Smith of Santee, CA.She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Jimenez of Rancho Bernardo, CA.Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association in care of her name.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
