Obituary of Margaret Alberto

"I lived life each day as if it were my last!"Margaret, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt passed away at peace and without pain into God's awaiting hands on May 13, 2014. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by those who love her dearly. She was born Margaret Anne MacPherson in Buffalo, New York in 1933. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, she met and married Frank Alberto, her husband of 54 years. Together they raised and nurtured five children and are proud grandparents of six grandchildren. She is survived by all of them.Margaret loved a great many things, but most of all, God and people. She found only the best in everyone she met. Margaret was a tremendous source of strength to her family and a woman of endless faith, forgiveness, compassion, discipline, generosity and kindness. She inspired so many to find these special gifts in themselves and to share them so that the lives of others might be a little brighter, a little stronger, a little richer and a little more at peace.Margaret's faith, love, spirit and memory are her legacy to all she touched on this earth. We will miss her dearly, but are comforted knowing that she is with God.A viewing and rosary will be held at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm respectively, on Friday, May 16th at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Eugene, Oregon.
