Lawrence Bumgarner of Florence, Oregon (formerly of Eugene) died on May 23, 2014 at the age of 72.He was born on May 29, 1941 to Harry & Alta (Admire) Bumgarner, in Eugene, Oregon. He attended South Eugene High School.Lawrence married Mary Kay Scoopmire on January 4, 1958 in Eugene, Oregon.He worked as a Cement Finisher, owned and operated Larry’s Construction & Concrete, then 4J School District, Walter bros. Construction and retired in 2006.He is survived by his wife, Mary and a son, Thomas Bumgarner of Springfield, OR. & two daughters, Mary McMaster of Deadwood, OR., and Debra Bumgarner of Eugene, OR., eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren also a sister, Barbara Glover of Junction City, OR.He was preceded in death by his grandson, John McMaster.Private services will be held at a later date.Arrangements entrusted to England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
