Obituary of Eugenia Berens

Eugenia Berens, age 89 of Eugene, Oregon passed away from natural causes on May 27, 2014. She was born on May 13, 1925 in Junction City, Oregon to John & Mary (Gunter) Rutschman.She graduated from Monroe High School and married Elmer Berens, he passed away in 1975.Eugenia worked as a Telephone Operator for Pacific Northwest Bell for 38 years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and garage sales. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church.She will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Louise Rigor.A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 10th at 12:15 with a reception following at Musgrove Family Center.
