Obituary of Kasimer Braun

Kasimer J. Braun was born on January 30, 1928 to Clemans Braun and Frances Koffler in Bowman, North Dakota. He passed away July 5th, 2014 after a 9 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Kas attended schools in Bowman and Eugene. He served in the U. S. Navy. He married Lila Austin in 1944. They later divorced. He married Roberta Dykes in Eugene, on February 4th, 1951. She passed away November 19, 2006. He married Betty Benson in 2008. Kas worked in the sheet metal business for years, before starting his own construction company. He worked on over 500 homes in the Lane County area. He is survived by his wife, Betty, his sons, Larry Braun, Darryl Harris, and Allan Braun, and his daughter, Melanie Vickroy. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ed and Bernie, sister, Genivieve Pocholec and great grandson Alex Blanco. A memorial service is planned at the North Eugene Faith Center, 151 River Ave, Eugene, on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
