Obituary of Jessie Chruszch

Jessie N. Chruszch, 84, of Junction City died June 24, 2014. She was born January 8, 1930 in Eugene, OR to Charles and Elfay (King) Hayes. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1948. On July 3, 1948, in Vancouver, WA, she married Mike Chruszch. He died in 1982. She lived in the Lane County area her whole life. She loved gardening and yard work. She enjoyed volunteering and volunteered much of her time at the Grandview Nursing Home in Junction City. She made many blankets for the Eugene Mission. She enjoyed collecting vases. She is survived by a son, Leo Chruszch (Sherry) of Springfield; A daughter, Carmen Gibson (Scott) of Gig Harbor, WA; grandchildren, Melissa Chruszch, Kimberly Garcia and Sharla Genzale and five great-grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2014 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Springfield Memorial Gardens.Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home.
