Obituary of Betty Dornath

Betty J. Dornath age 85 of Springfield, Oregon passed away of age related causes on May 17, 2014. She was born on July 1, 1928 in Riverton, Oregon.A Memorial Service at Marquis Care of Springfield will be held on July 11, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM a burial took place at Springfield Memorial Gardens.Betty graduated from Coquille High School and married Stanley J. Dornath on June 28, 1947 in Port Orford, Oregon. She was a Secretary for Coos County and Lane County for about 20 years.She is survived by her son, Curtis Dornath of Maricopa, Arizona and her daughter, Sally Gebhart of Fort Worth, Texas, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a sister in Washington.Betty enjoyed sewing and caregiving, spending time with her grandchildren and friends from church. She also enjoyed the trips out to eat with family and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley in 2008.Memorial contributions can be sent to Salvation Army in Springfield, Oregon.
