Obituary of Marguerite Kadau

Marguerite D. Kadau passed away August 9, 2014, with her family at her side. She was recently blessed in celebrating her 103rd birthday with family and friends.Marguerite was born in Gridley, California, June 22, 1911 to Ernest and Clara Walker. She was a lifetime resident of Lane County.She worked in the retail clothing industry for many years at Lerner’s Dress Shop, as well as Fragers. Her joy in life was her family and spending time getting together with them. We all knew her as “The Rock” of the family. She will be missed by us all.Marguerite was predeceased by her husbands, Vern Greive; Vernon Thorne and George Kadau and daughter, Gerry Kleaver. She is survived by daughter, Gloria Greive Osten (Wayne), sister, Doris Chirstofferson, grandchildren, Debra Eide (Mike), Jan Gardner, Jay Clarke, Lisa Reid, and Todd Osten (Tina), twelve great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.We will all miss you, but your love will be in our hearts forever.A gathering celebration of life with reception will be at 950 Corydon Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, on Thursday, August 14th from 2 to 4 PM.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
