Obituary of Alvin Ream

Alvin Ray Ream passed away at his home the evening of August 12th 2014 with his wife Myra, daughter Stacy, and her husband Mike Parton by his side. He was born on February 3rd, 1929 in Independence, OR.He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for over 30 years, as well as with the Army Corps. Of Engineers, Lane County Parks Department, Harvest House Publishing, & several cleaning companies. He was preceded in death by a wife, daughter, three brothers, and one sister.He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Myra; two Brothers Willie Ream and Blackie Ream; a son, John Ream; two step-daughters, Rebecca Randleman and Stacy Parton; and 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.There will be a Memorial Service at 1pm on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service.
