Obituary of Dorothy Enbysk
Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Enbysk, 85 of Eugene, passed away on August 18th, 2014 of age-related causes. A visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00pm on Monday, August 25th at Musgrove Family Mortuary followed by the funeral at 1:00. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Eugene. Dorothy was born in Luray, Missouri to Eston and Lucille (Edmiston) Boley on April 4, 1929. She graduated from Pendleton High School and attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dorothy married Ronald Enbysk on September 3, 1949 in Pendleton, Oregon. She worked at Ford’s Tire Center in Pendleton as an office manager for ten years and went on to be the administrative assistant to the deans at South Eugene High School from 1967-1976. She then moved to Portland and worked as an administrative assistant for International Paper in 1977 and retired in 1991. One of the greatest joys in Dorothy’s life was her dogs. She also enjoyed playing Bridge, baking, gardening, reading and going to garage sales. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Kevin Enbysk (Donna) of Maple Valley, Washington and Kirk Enbysk (Kimberly) of Creswell; a sister, Mary Wallan, of Athena, Oregon; six grandchildren, Megan, Casie, Kirk, Lucy, Lindsay, and Brittany; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, who passed away March 27, 1994 and a sister, Rovene. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenhill Humane Society.
