Obituary of Jean Louise (née Horman) Herman

On Thursday, February 27th, 2020, Jean entered eternal peace with God. She joins her husband, Jack (2007) and her cherished daughter, Virginia (2017). Jean will be remembered by: her sister-in-law, Margaret Horman, of Kitchener; brother-in-laws: Austin Herman, of Tavistock, and William Elliot, of Goderich; and many nieces and nephews. Jean lived a long life of 94 years. She was a teacher and enjoyed extensive travel. As an Air Force wife, she had the privilege to live in France and in communities in Canada from Alberta to Labrador. On retirement from teaching, she pursued her interest in art through painting and as a tour guide at Museum London. Jean was a faithful member of St. Ansgar Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be conducted at ST. ANSGAR LUTHERAN CHURCH, 600 Lawson Road, London, on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jean are asked to consider the Scleroderma Society of Ontario or a charity of choice.
