My deepest condolences to you both & to the family!!! Roberta was a great friend. So full of vim & vinegar. There was never a dull moment spent with her. Her stories, her laughter, & her crazy sense of humour kept us laughing the entire time. I will miss her so very much. My life has been truly blessed because of Roberta.

Oh my goodness - my husband and I were just reminiscing about Roberta earlier today! I was talking to him about the celebration for her 55th birthday that we had at work. I worked with Roberta in Savings Services at Canada Trust from 1986 - 1991 and she was without a doubt one of the best people I have ever worked with in my banking and academic careers. She was respected by so many people in branches across the region and the country and was so much fun. We would spend way too much time having a good gossip when we should have been doing other things! She always looked so great; I have a wonderful picture of her in the blue suit and black hat she wore to our wedding in 1990. She always talked about how much she loved you Teri and how proud she was of you and your Dad. Please keep me informed about the Celebration of Life as I would love to be part of it if I can.

Deep and heart-felt condolences to Wilf and Teri. I have known Roberta (Bert to me) since living across the street from the Monteith family in St. Thomas in 1958. Bert was always more than a sister-in-law to me -- in my mind she was a sister.

My mother in law, Roberta was bright spot in my life. We traded good natured digs, rude cards at Christmas and birthdays and just took every opportunity to give one another a hard time. I loved every minute of it and despite my best efforts always finished a distant second. Words cannot describe the loss to Teri and Wilf. On behalf of my side of the family in particular my mother Audrey we send our deepest condolences. She will be missed.

She was the most fabulous "honorary" grandmother I could have ever asked for! From always being ready for a chat to always having a stockpile of treats at her house for when I would visit, she always one of the most caring, funny and bright people I knew. She always remembered birthdays and milestones and the silly little things that made people feel special and made them smile. Wilf and Teri, no words can express how truly sorry I am for the loss of someone so important and dear to you. She will be so missed by so many.
