Obituary of Charlene Hawes

Charlene Hawes 1-12-1936 – 8/18/2014Charlene Hawes was born January 12, 1936 in Texarkana, Texas to Charlie Abshere and Mary Lauvie Crafts. She married Elmer Eugene Hawes of Fall Creek, Oregon on January 1, 1980.Charlene loved to Rock hound and go hunting. Charlene started her career at McKays Market as a meat wrapper.She had two sons, James Allan Arnold who currently resides in Springfield, Oregon and Donald Lewis Arnold who passed away in 2006. She is survived by her brothers Fred Abshere, Charlie Abshere, Bill Abshere, Richard Abshere, Darrel Abshere, Lannie Abshere, sisters, Kathleen and Cecilia, six grandchildren, Jake, Kia, Jimmy, Sara, Benjamin, Jody and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Abshere and sister Altie.Charlene was a hard working woman who played as hard as she worked. She was a kind spirit who put her family first. Charlene will be missed and loved as she has departed to our heavenly Father.
