Obituary of Thomas Stephen Askew

ASKEW, Thomas Stephen – Peacefully on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012 at University Hospital in his 88th year. Tom was born in Wallsend-on-Tyne, England. Beloved husband of Edith Askew of London. Loving father of Derek (Carol) Askew of London, and Thomas (Wendy) Askew of Oshawa. Dear grandfather of Stephen Askew (Jen Shaw), David (Kim) Askew, Dale (Karla) Askew, Michelle Askew, Rob (Jenny) Smith, Laura (John) La and Julie Smith (Adam Nelson) and great-grandfather of Ryan, Connor, Avery, Zack, Marissa, Dylan, Brea and Katlin. Predeceased by his brothers Frank, Cyril and Eric. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, August 27th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
