Obituary of William Pirie Roberts

ROBERTS, William Pirie – Suddenly at his residence on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in his 77th year. Beloved husband for 52 years of Elsie Roberts. Loving father of Cheryl Knieriem (Steve) of Strathroy and Nancy Johnston (Jim) of P.E.I. Proud Grandpa of Scott, Eric, Mark, Will and Keith. Sadly missed by his good friend and colleague Lory Moro. William is predeceased by his parents Scotty (1972) and Lizzy (1991) Roberts. William was a proud London Police Officer for 29 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of William are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
