Obituary of Bernice Fink

Peacefully at University Hospital, Palliative Care, on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012, Bernice (McLay) Fink of London at the age of 86. Wife of the late William (Skilly) Fink (1985). Beloved mother of Sandra (Jay) Hardy, Dianne (Jim) Backus, Jeannette (Pete) Courneya, Patty (Dave) White, Gail (Roger) Cramer, Lynda Fink and Chuck Fink. Predeceased by her son Bill (1999). Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ken, Delores and the late Jack. Thanks to the caring staff at Longworth Long Term Care (Lily) and the palliative care team at University Hospital. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Men’s Mission. The record of a generous life runs like vines around the memory… and every fine unselfish act is now a perfumed flower…character survives, goodness lives, love is forever.
