Uncle Philip, you will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure and honor of knowing you; I count myself as one of the great many in this group. Your colourful stories and great command of the English language would have me laughing until crying on numerous occasions. I thank you for all the wonderful, humorous stories you shared with me and all the wonderful, humorous stories that were told about you!
Philip we are going to miss you but you will always be in our hearts and we fondly recall all the good times we had even though we did not see each other to often but we always enjoyed talking to you,now that you are gone to Heaven have a glass of Beer with the rest of the family.George will miss hearing being called Iggy as you were the only one who called him that. I met Phil Rowe at London Ontario GM Plant in 1986 when Botswana bought a fleet of 20 locomotives and I was one of his students. I was impressed by his technical expertise and Botswana Railways invited him to train all the technical team on the GM Locomotives. May your soul rest in peace.
