Obituary of Edelisa Pinay

Peacefully and with great courage, surrounded by her family, at University Hospital, on Friday, June 1st, 2012, Edelisa Pinay, of London, at the age of 90. Wife of the late Francisco Pinay. Beloved mother of Cynthia Kianfar (Heshmat), of London, and Jane Hesse (Jonathan), of California. Loving “Lola” Grandma of Justin (Mehry), Eric, Matthew, Nathan, Michael, Carolyn and Ben, and great grandmother of Ella. Dear sister of 9 brothers and sisters, and many relatives from the U.S.A. and the Philippines. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7th, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 8th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1139 Riverside Drive, London. Interment, Woodland Cemetery. Edelisa’s family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Suskin and secretary Debbie, and his Cardiology Team, Dr. Kortas and secretary Dawn, Dr. House, C.C.A.C. and VON Staff for their care during Mom’s illness as well as to friends and relatives who have and will continue to keep her in mind. Prayers said for the progress of her soul greatly appreciated.
