Obituary of Robert G. Harper

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Margaret E. “Marg” Harper. Loving father of Kathy Gibb and her husband David of England, Laurie Harper-Burgess of Burlington and Jeffrey Harper and his wife Michele of London. Loved by his grandchildren Alison, Philip and Jeremy Gibb, all of England; Gifford Harper-Burgess of Burlington; and Emily Harper-Hawkins of Toronto. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley Oliver of London. Predeceased by his brother Ken Harper and his wife Inez. Bob was a retired Captain with the City of London Fire Department where he served for 31 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
