Obituary of Rachel Bower (nee Masterson)

Peacefully at peopleCare Oakcrossing on Easter Sunday, April 8th, 2012 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Bower (1994) and loving mother of Rick (Lynda) and Linda (David Vince). Dear Gran to John (Jamie), Michael (Meghan), Joelene (Michael) and Alexandria. Dear Great Gran to Ryan, Ries, Aleks, Rachel, Michael, Nathan, Brooke and Grayson. Rachel was predeceased by her parents, David and Agnes Masterson, siblings James (1944), Elizabeth (Lil), and Robert Masterson. She is survived by her sister Margaret (Miggs) Myers and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Longworth Retirement Home and peopleCare Oakcrossing for the care and kindness they showed to Gran over the last eight years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of Rae’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27th, 2012 at Southdale Bible Chapel, 1214 Southdale Road East, London. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Living London, 190 Adelaide St. S., London N5Z 3L1, would be appreciated.
