Obituary of Robert Paton

Passed away in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, April 12, 2012. Robert fought a courageous battle against cancer. He was the cherished husband and best friend of Geri (Geraldine Morley) Paton. Admired father of Jamie and his wife Heather, and Jodi Stewart and her husband Brad. Endeared and treasured Grampa to Sydney, Hunter, Braxton, Landon, Ryen, Jase and Joie Grace. Survived by sister Donna (Paton) Graves and her husband Les. Dear brother-in-law to Dave and Deb Stokley, Richard and Patti Hercus, Joe and Nancy Baldacchino, Mark and Carol Leitch and Dennis and Theresa Young. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Lorna Paton. Rob will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Rob was the honorable president of Paton Brothers Plumbing. He will be deeply missed and always remembered as a genuine mentor, loving husband, caring father and loyal friend. A special thank you to the staff of the London Regional Cancer Centre and the team of nurses at the V.O.N., especially Lyndsey and P.J. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Robert are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation for Cancer Research.
