Obituary of Janet Margaret Jacobs

Peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Longworth Long Term Care, London, on Friday, March 16th, 2012, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Harry Jacobs. Loving mother of Stephanie Dominie (née Dougan) and her husband Earl, and Shari Arnold (née Jacobs) and her husband Scot. Predeceased by her son Greg Jacobs. Will be missed by her grandchildren: Marcelle Thorn (Bill), Mark Dominie (Toni), Jennifer Jacobs (Carmine Romano), Jessica Jacobs, Paige Arnold and Nathan Arnold, and by her great-grandchildren: Dante Thorn, Lucas Thorn, Taylor Dominie and Mackenzie Dominie. Dear sister of Joyce David (the late Ross David). Predeceased by sister Jean Coultis (the late Earl Coultis) and by brothers Bill Bartleman (the late Verna Bartleman) and Percy Bartleman (Maureen Bartleman). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. At Janet’s request, there will be no funeral service. Private family interment will be at Milverton Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Janet are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
