Obituary of Larry Linker

Lawrence Leonard Linker died September 14, 2014. He was 76. He was born October 12, 1937 in Yakima, Washington to John J. Linker and Emma Freeman Linker. He married Wilma F. Settles in Veneta on August 31, 1956. Linker graduated from Elmira High School in 1956 and lived in Veneta, Springfield and Eugene most of his life. He worked as a linemen for the IBEW local 659. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and going to casinos. Survivors include a daughter, Lori Linker of Portland; three sons, Karry of Deerfield, NH., Jason of Oregon City and Brad of Eugene; a brother, Darrel Linker of Springfield and two grandchildren. A private memorial service is scheduled. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of Memories Funeral Home at West Lawn.
