Obituary of Terrence Ross Roberts
1935 The Terrence Ross Roberts Dash 2012
Oakridge Park will now be looking for a new superintendent...It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our deeply loved Dad, Terry Roberts, on March 1, 2012 in Lakeland, Florida. His death was unexpected and sudden, and we thank God he was with family at this time. Dad loved to vacation in Florida and as he sat perched in his favourite chair, watching the dolphins, he could often be heard saying, "It is a good life - It doesn't get much better than this!" Dad loved his family unconditionally, and always put family first. His motto: "I don't care how much you know, until I know how much you care", was one that he truly lived by. He will be missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Dolores, his daughter, Julie (Paul) Scapinello and his son Steve (Lynnette). Adoring and very proud Papa of Jessie, Justin and Tyler, as well as his beloved companion, Tucker. When things got tough, Dad always encouraged us to "get 'ur done". As tough as it is now, Dad, we will carry on together knowing that you will be watching and guiding us, on angels' wings, from above. On Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the Thames Valley District School Board Education Centre, 1250 Dundas Street, London, from 6 - 9 pm., a Celebration of Dad's life will take place. All are welcome. Donations can be made to the London Humane Society - "The silent supporters of the earth." Condolences and stories can be shared at TerryRoberts.ca
