Dear Andrea and Family, There are no words to make this any easier. As we say goodbye to David, we will remember his great wit and gentle kindness. As he is taken from our sight, there are many, including your Mom and Dad that are saying with Love and gladness........"Look here he comes". They are rejoicing in their reunion with him. I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers

I have known "Moose" for over 35 years and cannot say one bad word against him. He was a gentle giant of a man with a heart as big as his stature. He was the familiar guy at the London Amateur Radio Club annual flea market and field day. He s going to be hard to replace as I don't think anyone could do the job as well as "Moose" To his sister and her family my sincere condolences for your loss.

Still remember my first meeting with "Big Dave" - back in the old Clifton Arms days - he was my protector in the bar, my friend outside the bar - a friendship that lasted 35 years. Sincerest condolences on your loss.

There is an old saying that states " Only the good die young" .This is another case of That happening for sure. I sometimes think that God Himself Gets a little impatient, wanting to get His best people back into His arms a little early. The only thing that makes this easier to swallow for Me, is knowing that Dave is re-united with His Mother and father. If there is a Bus providing service, between the many mansions that Jesus Christ says there are in Heaven,"Big"Dave will Be driving it. I just hope He will be there to pick Me up,when it is My turn to go Home. Amen

No one at Sir Adam Beck did not know that great laugh and smile. Always there to lend a hand or just talk and laugh. You and Pottsie were so much alike so find him as he left us at 50. Let your laughter ring out. Break out into song. Say hi to the Rev and your Mom. Forever missed but so glad that you and I got to cross paths in life.

You will be missed by so many in all walks of life whose paths you crossed. We had many great laughs and at work and outside. I remember when you did me a favour and did a charter really early in the morning and floored one particular dispatcher (VC) We laughed so hard. You even gave me you old leather bag for those old ticket holders and money. You were a gentle giant. I remember your wedding and that little grown up girl Ashley whom you became father to and whom you loved and she loved you & still does dearly. May you have peace with your mom and dad up there in heaven. Till we meet again. Glo

Dave represented the spirit of life, a good man and friend to those who were lucky enough to know him. Thank God that he introduced Dave to Ham Radio.. his spirit of a life and a fine human being carried over to our hobby and it was certainly a honour to share the airwaves with him. May the spirit and the airwaves carry him home and onto the promised life and land. 73 Dave and till our next QSO.... de VE3NRJ Brads
