Obituary of Doris R. (Hazelton) Backus

Peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late John E. Backus. Loving mother of John Backus (Sandi) of St. Anne’s, Manitoba; and Jim Backus (Dianne) of St. Thomas. Also loved by her three grandchildren Ted (Tracey), Brett (Darcy) and Darryl (Kathleen) and two great-grandchildren Dylan and Tyler. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18th, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the family funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
