Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Johnston (née Guthrie)

Passed away peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on Friday, February 3rd, 2012, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Carland Johnston. Cherished mother of Mary Lynne Knill and her husband Paul and Ian Johnston and his wife Nancy. Devoted grandmother of David, Ian, Megan, Martha and Rob. Predeceased by her brothers Glenn and Fred. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. A private family funeral was conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London (519-641-1793). Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Strathmere Lodge for their compassionate care and support.
