Obituary of Lorraine Gertrude Bazala

Peacefully at home, enveloped in the love of her family after a brave and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, January 16th, 2012 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Sam. Loving mother of Johnny (Mary Ellen) Cousineau, Lynda (Bob) Donaldson, Phill (Maureen) Cousineau and Gary Cousineau (Wendy Silva). Proud grandmother of Devin, Brianne, Patrick, Angela and Kelly and two great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Justine MacKey and Phill MacKey and the late Bob, Jack, Jim and Rita. Laurie was a dedicated Tai Chi instructor through the Kiwanis Club and all over the city. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20th, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Laurie are asked to consider the Salthaven Wildlife Sanctuary.
