Obituary of Gene Gladys Taleski (Burch)

At University Hospital on Saturday, January 7, 2012 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Howard Lloyd Taleski (Sept 25, 2006), married 61 years. Loving daughter of the late John and Jennie Burch. Dear mother of Wendy Carroll (Tim), Brad Taleski (Denise) and Doug Taleski (Daphne). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tim, Erin (Jake Sleigh); Mitchell and Colton; Sarah Jane Steele (Calvin) and Doug (Amy Harris). Loving sister of Bill Burch (June), Anne Cook (Ray) and Joan Strang (Ron). Predeceased by brothers Robert (Marion), Mason (Agnes), Doug (Grace), Jack (Betty) and sisters Irene Reed (George), Helen Clements (Wilbert), Edna Mills (Russ) and Dorothy Vollbrecht (Jim). Sister-in-law of the late Art Taleski (Doreen). Gene is survived by many lifelong friends and devoted nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow. A family interment will be held at a later date at Woodland Cemetery.
