Obituary of Anne Marie Thompson

Peacefully, enveloped in the love of her family, at Victoria Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, December 10th, 2011, Anne Marie Thompson, of London, in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Ron for 40 years. Loving mother of Brian (Nancy) and David. Cherished grandmother of Logan. Dear sister of Patricia (Walter) Reid-Burke, Jacqueline Reid, Charles (Patty) Reid, Pauline Reid, Mary (Len) Price, Isobel (Tom) Reid and John Reid. Anne Marie will be sorely missed by siblings-in-law Joan Smith, Barb (Bob) Wyngaert, Doreen (Robin) Graham, Bobby (Karen) Thompson, Marilyn Thompson and Donna (Doug) O’Connell. Predeceased by sister-in-law Carol Thompson and brother-in-law Bob Smith. Anne Marie will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends, including her life-long friends Vicky (Henry) Hughson and Chris (Carole) Westcott. Special appreciation to Anne Marie’s “family” at Selectpath for their love, care and support and also heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hamilton and Roman Lewicki for their special homecare and to all the doctors and staff at Victoria Hospital Palliative Care. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, December 17th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
