Obituary of Earl Baker

Earl Baker died on September 30th , 2014 in Cottage Grove, Oregon at the age of 88. He was born on May 20th , 1926 in Big Cedar, Oklahoma to Fred & Grace (Matlock) Baker. After graduating from High School, Earl served in the Navy and Air Force during WWII and Vietnam. He retired after 27 years of service. Earl was married to Norma in 1946 and they were together for 64 years living in Oregon.Earl is survived by his three sons; Barry Baker (Jane) from Roseburg, OR, Bruce Baker (Molly) from Silver Springs, NV, and Brian Baker from Hillsboro, OR and 4 grandchildren; Levi, Joshua, Samuel, Laira and 2 Great-grandchildren, Kiele and Melina. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma and brother, Ralph.Viewing will be on Friday, October 10th at 1:00 p.m. at Lane Memorial Funeral Home followed with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A Committal with Military Honors will be at the grave site.Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church at P O Box 2349, Roseburg, OR 97471.
