Obituary of Robert Harold Sharpe

Peacefully on Friday, November 25th, 2011 at Victoria Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Jenny I. Sharpe (Dehens). Loving father of Gary (Brenda), Gail, and Mark (Elizabeth). Dear grandfather of Jessica (Ryan), Jordan and Courtney. Dear brother of Nora, Linda (Elwin) and brother-in-law of Beatrice. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Sarah, siblings Rowena, Pauline, Lorne and Donald. Bob and Jenny were married on April 11, 1953 and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. He proudly served in the Armed Forces for 27 years, with the RCR in Korea 1952, Germany 1959 (3 years) and the Belgian Congo 1963. Bob also worked at Wolverine Tube for 16 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London, on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society. Bob’s family would like to thank Dr. Sexton, Dr. Jessica Howard and all the doctors and staff who cared for him.
