Obituary of Roland Field

Col. Roland Bruce Field, U.S.M.C. Ret., made a gentle transition to Heaven at the age of 85 on September 19, 2014. Roland was a 37 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a graduate of the N.R.O.T.C. program at Oregon State and an avid Beaver fan. He lost his gallant fight against diseases caused by Agent Orange in Viet Nam. He is survived by his devoted wife Carol, his pride and joy son Brian, Brian's wife Robin and his precious granddaughter, Hannah.Services will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, October 4th at the Christian Church in Marcola, Oregon.
