Obituary of Melvin George May

Peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital, on Monday, October 10th, 2011 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ida (1969). Proud father of Linda (John) Spencer, and John (Deborah) May. Much loved grandpa of Michael, Jennifer (Tim), Shari, Justin and Joel and “Bubby” of Brayden, Brianna, Ava and Liam. Mel was a dedicated Canadian Navy Veteran of WWII. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, October 13th, 2011 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. where the funeral service will immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. Private family interment will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mel are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
