Obituary of Marion White

Marion D. "Jack" White died October 7, 2014 in Eugene at the age of 87 from natural causes. He was born July 11, 1927 in Las Animas, Colorado to Marion and Goldie (Van Meter) White. Marion served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Phyllis D. Dillon on April 16, 1947 in Kansas. They had three children, Jackson, Karen and Marie. He worked for over 40 years in the Propane Gas Industry. Marion enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. Marion is survived by his wife, Phyllis White, his three children, Jackson White, Karen Pauwels and Marie Fazzari and grandchildren, Dana and Garrett Pauwels A public visitation will be on Saturday, October 11th, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service with Honors will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lane Memorial Funeral Home, 5300 W 11th Ave. Eugene, Oregon. An Internment will be at Roseburg National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
