Obituary of Yvonne Patricia Deane

Peacefully on October 1st, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, Yvonne Patricia Deane (née Moore) passed away at Extendicare Nursing Home, London. Yvonne was in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband John (1999). Loving mother of Chris (Kelli), of Stoney Creek, Mike (Lynne), Jeff and Susan, all of London. Caring grandmother of Sarah, Lauren, Alex, Stephanie, Justin, Kristin, Caitlyn, Jason and Ayden. Great grandmother to Blake. Predeceased by grandson Matthew (1988), parents Harold and Ida Moore and brother Peter, of Cambridge, England. Yvonne was an avid Blue Jays fan (never missed a game!), enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word jumbles, and also loved singing in the choir. She will be sadly missed by her fellow church members and friends. The memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Extendicare. Also many thanks to Dr. Shoesmith and the ALS team at LHSC.
