Obituary of Zbigniew (Bob) Lankosz

LANKOSZ, Zbigniew (Bob) – Bob joyfully entered the world on May 13, 1948 and quietly left on September 19, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Son of the late Maksymillian and Kazimiera Lankosz. He met and married his wife Mary (nee Hertner) in Cairo, Egypt 33 years ago and together they raised two wonderful sons Marc and Nick (Rachel). Dear brother of Izabella (Bruce) Milne. Much loved uncle of Sean and Natasha Milne. He will also be missed by the Hertner/Crawford clan and his friends here and around the world. Special thanks to the staff at Victoria and University Hospitals for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
