Obituary of Tessie Fernandez

FERNANDEZ, Tessie – Died peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, September 17th, 2011. Survived by her beloved husband Eric. Loving sister of Nena Saus (Eddie), of London, and Norly Lachica (Felix), Toto Fernandez (Inday) and the late Nercy Macalua (Fred), of the Philippines. Fondly remembered by her niece Jing Simpauco (Albert), of London and her nephew Jay Macalua (Glenda), of Waterloo and by her extended family in the Philippines. Beloved Tita of Jaime, Nick, Tom, JC, Christoffer, Joaqui, Isabel, Jacob, Adam, Nathan, Jacob, Mikaela, Adam and Nicole. The family thank Dr. Stephen Welch and Bonnie Martin for their loving support during this journey. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 2011 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Tessie requested no flowers! In memory of Tessie, the family would be grateful for gifts made to L.H.S.F. to be used to support the Cancer Clinic.
