Dear Lois, Nick was a great man and will be missed by all who knew him. His wonderful personality and joy of life was shared with all who came into contact with him. I will remember fondly the many adventures and conversations we had when driving to hockey games while playing for the North London Old Devils. Our family is truly saddened by the loss of "Mr. Nick". Forever in our hearts and thoughts… we will miss him. Robin, Sandra, Amanda and Charlotte Hunter

Lois, Kelly, Carolyn and Families: Words are inadequate at this difficult time but we want you to know we feel for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that Nick was a true friend and the consumate teammate. We shall never forget those great hockey trips to Scotland, California, B.C., Florida and all points in between. Nor the early days in Wallaceburg. I often said that if I had a team of Nicks we would win every game. When I complimented him at the bench on a good play he would just give me that "aw shucks" grin and say something like "that's another beer you owe me Huff." He really was, as the old hockey saying goes, Number 1 on your program. Number 1 in your heart. Rest in peace old friend.

I worked with Nick at Revenue Canada for many years. I remember the road trip sitting around having a few beers and always lots of laughs. I thinks about Nick's building speed and the many discussions over what type of equipment to buy. The many hockey stories and trips that were told. Nick, you will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to your wife and family at this time.

He was a good man Lois and you will miss him terribly and we are sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself, Jim and Carol

My condolences to Lois and family. I was Nick's supervisor at CRA in the early 1990's and these were great years to work with Nick and others like Russ Cole. We always enjoyed Nick's hockey stories and razzed him about the speed of his home improvement projects. His yard at home was always meticulous and looked like a full time gardner had manicured the park like setting. Nick was a great guy.

Dear Lois and Fanily, I am so sorry for your loss. Although we didn't spend a lot of time together I did so enjoy your hospitality and had the opportunity to experience Nick's quiet wit and the way he interacted with Cameron and Maddy. I know you have wonderful memories that will stay with you forever.

My condolences to the family and friends of good old Nick ... Like others, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Nick in the good old days at DNR aka Rev Can, aka CRA, we went on road trips in the 80's and when I moved from Audit to IT services, he was never a pain like some people and always an easy affable "client/user". His easy going ways will be missed ... Prayers and warm vibes to the family ...
