WE ARE VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF HARRY'S PASSING. HARRY WAS AN INSPIRATION TO ALL WHO KNEW HIM AND THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE HAVING HAD HARRY IN IT. WE REMEMBER THE MANY PLEASANT TIMES WE SPENT WITH HARRY AND MILDRED AT THEIR SUMMER HOME AND THEIR RETURN VISITS TO OUR PLACE NEAR RED BAY. HARRY WAS MY FIRST "INSPECTOR" WHILE I WAS TEACHING IN OTTAWA. HAVING TAUGHT IN HARRY'S DEPARTMENT DURING SEVERAL SUMMERS I GREW TO APPRECIATE HARRY'S LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH MILDRED AND FAMILY AT THIS SAD TIME.

Gary and Greg and families posted a condolence
Gary and Greg my sincerest condolences to your Mom and your families. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It's been a long time since West Wartime but I still remember our hikes around town. A friend lives up near Chippawa Park where I think it was Gary that got bit by a mouse we tried to catch and you may have needed shots. I even remember a birthday party at your Dunkirk place. Anyway, my personal e-dress is denysedavis@hotmail.com and work is tgpk@chevron.com (on a Kuwait/Saudi Neutral Zone project). Would like to get in contact just to touch base. Your Dad was always a gentleman and it is a coincidence that Colpoy's Bay is mentioned, my Uncle, Grant Davy, is also buried up there. Again condolences!

Dear Mrs. Beatty and Family It is will great sorow I learned of the passing of Mr. Beatty. I have fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Beatty being over at our parents house whether for dinner or at one of the numerous social gatherings. I have one memory to share, when Althouse had a Friday night curling group, my wife, Beth and I were invited to join and help skip a few teams as we were curling at the time. One evening I was skipping and Mr. Beatty was on my team. Several times I would say " sweep Mr. Beatty, sweep" and he would reply "call me Harry". Well having known this man and his wife for most of my life I just couldn't do it. So finally has one rock was coming down the sheet and I was asking for it to be swept, there stood Mr. Hasrry Beatty arms folded and refusing to sweep until I called him by his first name. Well he did win that night and wvery Friday we curled together, but as you can see he still is Mr. Beatty to me. My sympathies with you all, I know that right now Mr. Beatty and my Dad are upstairs working on some techincal project or another renuited once again. Bill
