Obituary of Arabella Kathleen Pengelly (nee Hemingway)

August 26, 1921 – September 4, 2011 The family sadly wishes to announce the passing of a loving Mom, Grandma and “G.G”. Wife of the late Bill (1968). She leaves behind son Bill (Bruce) and daughter Margaret (Michael) Head, treasured grandchildren Dianne (Matthew) Armstrong, Ryan (Jana) Head and her very special treasures, her great-grandchildren Hudson and Hayley Armstrong. Also missed by her sisters-in-law Edyth Towner and Edith Hemingway. Predeceased by her brothers Jack, Russell and Charlie Hemingway. Dear aunt to Anne Pengelly, Carol Towner-Todd, Mary Ann Butler, David Pengelly (2002), John Pengelly, Bruce McNea, Wayne Hemingway, Rick Hemingway and John Hemingway. She will be missed by many great nieces and nephews. Belle worked at the University of Western Ontario Bookstore for 17 years and will be missed by many longtime friends. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. where the funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Woodland Cemetery.
