Obituary of Treise Autumn Logan

Treise Autumn Logan, 10, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010, surrounded by her family. Treise brought us so much joy and she taught us so much in her ten years. She taught us how to love unconditionally, how to have tremendous patience, how to be strong and brave when faced with the greatest obstacles. She showed us how to be genuinely kind and understanding. She showed us how easy it is to forgive and to never hold a grudge. She taught us to see joy and happiness in the littlest of things and to laugh and keep a sense of humour at all cost. She made this world a better place and we are so proud of her. Our lives are so much richer for having this gentle pure soul for our child. She is survived by her parents, Tim and Nadine, sister Gwen, and her beloved lab, Zeke. She is also survived by her grandparents Dennis and Janet Logan, Lorraine Deveau and Andrew Scott, and Bev Reid as well as great-grandparents Roger and Dorothy Roberts and Marion Deveau. She will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Treise’s Life will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Treise are asked to consider the Sickkids Foundation of the Hospital for Sick Children Toronto (http://www.sickkidsfoundation.com/home/ ) using her personal fundraising page.
