Obituary of Floyd Cox

Floyd L Cox of Woodburn, OR - formerly of Lane County - passed away 10/5/14 at the age of 89. He was born the 16th of 17 children to Ora & Fannie Cox in Big Fork, Arkansas. Floyd served 29 months in the US Navy during World War 2, after spending 18 months in the South Pacific he returned to Arkansas and graduated from high school in 1947. He retired from Agripac after 38 years. Floyd was married to Velda Lou Bates and later married Betty Lou Wafford. He is survived by his children Jackie Wright, Travis Cox, and Cheryl Smiley. An infant son, Dwight died at birth. Also surviving are Betty's daughters Diane Henderson and Cookie Carroll. His funeral will be at West Lawn - 225 S Danebo - Eugene OR on 10/13/14 at noon.
