Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Moye

Elizabeth Marie Moye, better known as "Betty," was placed in God's hands on October 7th. She was 86. Betty was born on April, 13, 1928 in Woodburn, OR to Otto and Margaret Miller, the third of six children. She graduated from Mt. Angel Academy in 1946 and met her husband, Dr. Jack Moye, the following year. They were married on January 29, 1949 in Woodburn. Jack passed away on their 61st wedding anniversary.In 1952 Jack and Betty moved to Junction City where he practiced veterinarian medicine for 52 years. Betty ran his office while raising 3 daughters: Beverly Ruecker (Craig), of Tigard, OR; Deborah Hays (Eric) of Missoula, MT; and Janet Moye-Smith of Junction City. She is survived by her 3 girls, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Alan Miller (Lynn) of Portland.Betty was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Junction City and will be inurned next to her husband at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
